Daniel Whelan Engineering Works Limited is a manufacturer and supplier of architectural steelwork and agricultural products dedicated to our belief in the principles of quality and service.

Since 1928 we have been based in Borris, Co Carlow and have established a reputation for innovative designs of Gates, Railings, Balconies, Stairs and much more, with attention to detail and customer requirements, tailored to suit their individual needs.

We are able to process requirements from initial customer concept through our CAD design office, fabrication facility and installation service if required. Our CAD design uses Autodesk inventor, enabling us to support our customers design process. In addition to these services, we are reputed as restorers of railings and gates from bygone eras and pride ourselves on using manufacturing techniques which would have been used by craftsmen from centuries ago.

Just recently we have expanded our operations with the launch of our offices in Cork and plans are also in place for offices to be opened in Dublin, Galway and Limerick within the next three months. Our product range is a major growth area for Daniel Whelan Engineering Work’s,  we specialise in the production of waste and material handling equipment from Forklift Tipping Skips to Crane Rubble Skips our product range covers the needs of the construction industry with regard to function and excellent durability and quality.
